Financial aid is available to those families who qualify for need-based scholarships.There is no financial aid available that is based on athletic or academic achievement.
FINANCIAL AID OPPORTUNITIES AT SBEC
SBEC is committed to helping families that are unable to afford the full cost of a quality Christian education. SBEC has a need-based financial aid program to assist families that might not otherwise be able to attend our school. For the 2012-2013 school year we will utilize the online service of Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to process the applications. FAST will be the standard submission format for all applications.
Families must reapply each year. Balances must be current to apply for financial aid and a signed Contract of Enrollment must have been received by the Admissions Office. Students must be enrolled to be considered for financial aid
To begin the process, please follow these steps:
Click on the FAST Logo at the bottom of this page and you will go directly to the online application.The online application is guided step-by-step. There are help bubbles at each step and there is a FAST Help Line you can access 24/7/365 - 1-877-326-FAST (3278). The people are there to help with any part of the process. There is a PDF online Family Handbook that also aid in completing the application.
There is NO CHARGE for filing a financial aid application this year. Whenever it states you will see the charge on your credit card bill, you will NOT. You do not enter your credit card information anywhere.You can navigate in and out of the application. You will access it to complete additional information using the user name and password you set up at the beginning of the process.
Once you have completed all the information and are ready to submit, you will go to the checkout page. Please enter your name, address, and other information requested. You will NOT owe a processing fee.
When you have submitted the application you will receive an email confirming receipt of your online application. You still must submit the tax returns and supporting documents to verify your application by mail. Financial aid application for re-enrolling families will not be accepted after March 9. All supporting documents must follow the application and be postmarked by March 23.
