The SBEC PTSF has a simple mission to seek out and participate in ways that build-up, support and strengthen our students, teachers and families.
We know that when we do this we powerfully impact the lives in our school and thus to our community and beyond.

Just a few of the items that the PTSF has already supported and funded are:
- an improved and content rich student directory that includes: contact information for almost all SBEC students/ families, the school calendar, administration contact list, the school Suggestion / Communication Form, quick reference information regarding school uniforms, SBEC family business listings, PTSF information and so much more
- a renewed Teacher Appreciation program that includes a monthly luncheon for our teachers and staff
- new microwaves for our teacher lounges
- a new school mascot for the purpose of helping to promote school spirit and enhance community outreach programs
- a monthly school-wide meeting that is packed with valuable information for supporting families, community awareness and timely school information
- developed and staffed over 19 new committees giving everyone an opportunity to serve, be connected with others and make a difference
- developed the CARE Team
- developed the New Family Welcoming Team
- developed the Office/Admin Help Team
- improved communication venues by building an effective e-mail distribution list
- developed a new webs site
- created a PTSF Bulletin Board
- improved awareness and support for the many important special interest groups like athletics, band, arts and more
