Welcome to the most "plugged in" group in town... the SBEC PTSF!
The Parent Teacher Student Fellowship is all about building-up our students, supporting our teachers, and strengthening families. PTSF members truly are "people making a difference". It is my pleasure to serve as president for the 2008-2009 school year as we kick-off the second year this exciting new program. It’s not your mom’s PTA. Our group is made up of moms and dads, teachers, students, grandparents, faculty members, caregivers, and others that desire to "get plugged in" and make a difference on our campus, in our homes, and in our community. We also have fun doing it! Help us make this a special year for SBEC. * To raise awareness of the many different ways that all parents can be involved and make a difference in our school * Improve our new families support program * To establish an annual "Back to School Meet and Greet" * Design an effective Grade Parent program * To provide opportunities to strengthen our students, teachers and families There are so many ways you can get involved whether you have a little time or a lot of time, we can have a place just for you! Be sure to check out the PTSF webpage at www.sbectrojans.com/ptsf to see what's going on and how you can get involved. Your ideas and a helping hand are always welcomed. Thank you for supporting the SBEC PTSF! Kimberly Medlock SBEC PTSF President 2008-2009 Kimberly@kimberlymedlock.com / 662-893-7933 |
