HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

There are a few yearbooks for sale.  The cost is $60.00.  Please see Coach Sheron.

 

All Senior Class Officers and Senior Student Council members only will meet in Ms. DeFrehn’s room Thursday, May 15^th during lunch.

 

Tomorrow is Jeans Day to support Destination Imagination.  If you have not paid your $1.00, bring it with you tomorrow morning and give it to your 1^st period teacher if you would like to wear jeans.

 

Student Ambassador Applications for students in grades 7-12 to be a Student Ambassador for the 2008-2009 academic year are available this week in the Development Office.  Current student ambassadors also need to sign up with Mrs. Jenkins for next year.  Prospective student ambassadors need to pick up the packet of information, complete the application, and secure the two recommendation forms.  All students need to sign up or turn in their application and forms by this Friday, May 16.

 

The Athletic Department will be selling Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits tomorrow morning from the concession stand in Trojan Hall.

 

 

SPORTS

 

 

The Junior High Softball Team needs to turn their uniforms in to the H.S. Office in the Main Bldg.

 

There will be a parent/player meeting for Junior High Volleyball on Friday, May 16^th from 5:30-6:30 PM in the upstairs library.

 

The Trojan Sports Banquet will be Thursday, May 15, at Broadway Baptist Fellowship Hall starting at 6:30 pm.  The special speaker for the evening will be Ernie Fry.  Girls are required to wear dresses and the boys are required to wear a shirt and tie.  Tickets can be purchased in the HS Office in the Main Bldg.  Student tickets are $5.00 and Adults are $10.00.  It will be a steak dinner.  Athletes must purchase a $5.00 ticket as well.  This Banquet is for all Junior High and Varsity athletes that played any organized sport for SBEC this school year.
