SBEC is a not-for-profit organization. All gifts to SBEC are tax-deductible.
Why should I give to the Annual Fund? Doesn't my tuition cover everything SBEC needs?
God has blessed SBEC in a special way. Unlike most schools, 100 percent of SBEC's operating income comes from tuition and fees. That means tuition and fees enable SBEC to pay teachers, buy books, keep the lights on, and cover the day-to-day expenses of running the school.
Providing a distinctive Christian education is much more than covering the basics.
Faithful giving to the Annual Fund allows SBEC to:
• enhance programs, taking them from good to excellent.
• help minister to some SBEC families, giving their children the opportunity to receive an SBEC
education when they otherwise could not.
• provide equipment, supplies, and services without increasing tuition costs.
When should I give? By its nature, the Annual Fund is a year-long fundraising drive. Gifts may be made at any time during the school year.
I've already lost/thrown away my Annual Fund brochure. What do I do now?
It is not necessary to return the participation card sent with the Annual Fund brochure to make a gift. Additional brochures and forms are available in the Development Office.
