SBEC Pre-Kindergarten (Three Year Olds) WEEKLY RATES

2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

 

 

School Session Dates:  August 11 – May 21

 

Student must be 3 years old by August 1 and fully potty trained to attend our K3 program.

$150.00 Registration Fee due in the Admissions Office with contract.

 

SCHOOL IN SESSION

 

$131.00 Weekly Fee                 The Pre-Kindergarten program is a five-day program.  Part-time fees will not be applied for

part-time attendance.

 

Reduction of $26.20 per day is made for each holiday or administrative closings.

*All other absences during reserved times are chargeable.  Vacation/sick days are not applicable during the school year.

 

            Holiday Closings scheduled are:

                        Labor Day

                        Thanksgiving Day and the day following  (two days)

                        Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (two days)

                        New Year’s Day

                        Good Friday

                        Memorial Day

                        Fourth of July

Other closings include extremely hazardous weather, similar unforeseen situations, or as the calendar indicates.

            Fall Break, Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Spring Break, Snow Days, and Teacher In-Service Days

 

Reservations must be made with the Enrichment Center in advance.  Payment is required for all days reserved.  Parents must provide a lunch.

Late Pick Up Fees

The Enrichment Center closes at 6:00 p.m.  Therefore, the following late fees will be applied in addition to the above fee:

$10.00 for each child picked up from 6:01 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and $1.00 per minute per child picked up after 6:15 p.m.

            $10.00 additional for pick up after 6:30 p.m.

 

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

 

Payment is expected in advance on Monday of each week.

Ø       Please make checks payable to SBEC. 

Ø       IMPORTANT:  Please put child’s first and last name along with record number on the check.

Ø       Payment is not required for Pre-Kindergarten children who do not attend when school is closed and Enrichment Center is open.  Fees will be pro-rated.

 

If your total childcare fees are 15 days overdue, a 1½% late fee will be applied to your account.  Accounts that are 30 days past due will be reviewed by the Administration.

 

RETURNED CHECK POLICY:  All checks returned are subject to a $20.00 service charge.

Two weeks advanced written notice is required to withdraw a child from our Extended Care Program.

 

ENRICHMENT CENTER HOURS ARE 7:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
