The goal of the elementary library is to assist students in the development of the skills necessary for independent lifelong learning.  Emphasis is placed on the appreciation and enjoyment of literature and the motivation of reading for pleasure as well as for information.
Book Checkout Procedures

Grades 1 - 3 may check out two books for a one-week check-out period.
Grades 4 - 6 may check out two books for a two-week check-out period.
The library is available each school day for students to turn in books and check out new books.
