Thank you for your interest in our school and admissions process. SBEC is not just a Christian School. We are an intensely Christian School. We seek to live out our Mission and Philosophy daily in every aspect of school life, from the classroom, to the stage and playing field to achieve our Vision. We form a partnership with parents to reinforce the Christian values taught at home and to help you “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6)

SBEC admits students without regard to race, color, creed, or national or ethnic origin. Financial aid is available on a need-only basis. The School Profile highlights our highly regarded academic program. In addition, each year students, teams, and departments earn honors and awards for their efforts in knowledge bowl, language, science, art, and athletic competitions and dramatic and musical performances.

To help you get to know us better, we want to especially invite you to two events so you might experience our theatre and symphonic band programs.

First, you’re Invited to the Saturday matinee of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s "Oklahoma!, the Great American Musical," beginning at 2:00 pm. This performance is the only remaining performance that is not sold out.

Come see our theatre and band students as they sing, act, and accompany one of the most memorable musicals of all time. Also, by attending the performance of Oklahoma! you will experience another view of SBEC, its theatre program, and students.

To encourage you to come enjoy this fun musical on the campus of SBEC, we will provide special per person ticket pricing of ($4.00) for this matinee performance. Feel free to bring your family and friends with children so they also might experience SBEC. To reserve your tickets, please call 662.349.5129. Tickets may be paid for by check or cash and picked up at the door.

Secondly, you’re invited to hear the Award-winning SBEC Symphonic Band in concert on Tuesday, March 6, at 7:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center on the campus of SBEC. Because there are no tickets to purchase, this performance is usually well attended. Therefore, we would encourage you to arrive early for the best seats.

If you have any interest in the band or music program at SBEC, it might be advantageous for you to attend this concert. Come listen as students in grades 9-12 play several college-level pieces of symphonic band music. Please contact 662.349.5129 for more information about this concert.
