Ahlaiah Lewis Selected as the 2012-2013 Football Homecoming Queen

SBEC congratulates senior Ahlaiah Lewis for being selected by the SBEC student body as the 2012-2013 Football Homecoming Queen. Ahlaiah is the daughter of Gwen and Leon Lewis. She has been actively involved in many SBEC activities including the Crafty Christian Cookers’ club, where she serves as the Secretary/Treasurer, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Student Advisory Committee. She is a member of the SBEC Varsity Cheerleader Squad. She recently received the “Most Outstanding Cheerleader” award,was selected to be in the "Star Athletica" cheerleading magazine, and was selected as an All Star cheerleader. She also participates on the Track and Field team and received the “Most Improved Award” breaking the school’s record for the long jump and 200 meter dash. In addition, Ahlaiah routinely volunteers to serve at the Food Shelf and Youth Villages. Ahlaiah attends Christ Temple Church of God. A special verse to Ahlaiah is Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
