SBEC wins over Lausanne 3-2.

The varsity girls soccer team won the first district soccer game of the season. They are 1-2 overall but 1-0 in district play. Kayleigh Patterson scored the first two goals giving SBEC a 2-0 lead at half time over Lausanne Collegiate School. Lausanne came back quickly in the second half and evened the score 2-2. Andrea Sparkman played a great game at goalie but half way through the 2nd half she was called for interference and a penalty shot was awarded to Ashley Baur clears the ballAshley Baur clears the ballLausanne. Andrea had to come off the field because of the call so Kayleigh Patterson played goalie for the penalty shot. Patterson stopped the penalty shot. With 3 minutes left to play, Abigail Morales scored the winning goal to give SBEC the victory.
