Carpet is removedIn August 2010, construction began on remodeling the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Pews were sold, carpet was removed and the existing sound booth was dismantled. In November 2010, the renovations were completed.
The Theatre Department and many interested parents joined hands to pay for the improvements and renovation of the PAC. In addition to being the home of the SBEC award winning Theatre Department, the PAC is utilized daily for activities including chapel services, kindergarten programs, expanded classroom space and parent meetings.
Here is how you can help us continue to bring quality theatre to SBEC.
In honor of a loved one, special teacher or favorite young actor, you can ‘Name That Seat’ in the PAC. Handsome engraved nameplates will be attached to the seat, and a small plaque will be issued to the donor. There are three donation categories based upon proximity to the stage.
Standing Ovation - $500 Encore - $250 Applause - $100
Your participation in Name That Seat will allow SBEC to continue bringing the wonderful world of the theatre to our children and community. Please Note: Naming a seat does not include admission to performances or guarantee reserved seating. Your personalized nameplate will remain for the life of the seat. To Name That Seat or for more information, please contact Elizabeth Jenkins in the SBEC Development Department (662)349-5129 or esjenkins@sbectrojans.com.
